What we collect and why

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, your contact details and whatever you tell us about your enquiry. We use it to reply to you and, if you instruct us, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where you instruct us, the performance of a contract with you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or pass on your information for marketing. It is held by the companies that provide our email and website hosting, acting on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an instruction are kept for 2 years. Project records are kept for 30 years, reflecting the longest period within which claims can currently be brought.

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email enquiries@smokeconsultancy.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with our reply you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
